Obituary

Johnny Lee Webb, Jr., 47, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away surrounded by his loving family at 3:27 P.M. July 31, 2019 at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born November 19, 1971 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Johnny Lee Evan and Linda Louise (Bain) Webb, Sr.

Johnny is survived by his mother, Linda Webb; children, Brittany DeRuyter and husband, Levi of Pipestone, Minnesota, PVT Zoie Webb of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Johnny Lee Evan Webb III of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Lane Vernon Steele, Lukas Eudell Allen Steele, and Kai Maverick DeRuyter, all of Pipestone, Minnesota; sister, Michelle Miller and husband, Karl of Waltonville, Illinois; brother, James Webb of Mount Vernon, Illinois; niece, Chelsea Miller of Nashville, Tennessee; nephews, Dylan Miller of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jay Webb and Lucas Webb, both of Mount Vernon, Illinois; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Webb, Sr.; grandparents, Howard and Jessie Bain and  James and Lena Webb.

As an organ donor, the Webb family would like to acknowledge that Johnny gave the most precious gift anyone could give; the gift to save lives of his fellow man.

A Visitation will be held Monday, August 5, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Don Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
