Donald Duane Cralley, 85, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 8:56 P.M. March 25, 2018 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He was born July 10, 1932 in Clinton, Illinois  to the late Earl Biford and Bessie Eloise (Spainhour) Cralley. He married Ueldean Bain on February 4, 1951 in Clinton, Illinois and were blessed with 67 Years of marriage.

Donald is survived by his wife, Ueldean Cralley of Centralia, Illinois; children, Douglas Cralley and wife, Susan of Woodlawn, Illinois, Deloris Sipe of Centralia, Illinois, David Cralley and wife, Diane of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandchildren, Renee Zoll and husband, Josh of Woodlawn, Illinois, Nathan Sipe and wife, Sandi of Centralia, Illinois, and Casey Sipe of Centralia, Illinois; great grandchildren, Olivia Sipe of Centralia, Illinois, and Evan Sipe of Centralia, Illinois; and siblings, Charles Cralley of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Anita Burris of Atlanta, Georgia, and June Holcomb of Atlanta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Clifton Cralley and wife, Nadean.

Donald served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1952 until 1954. He was a squirrel and rabbit hunter and enjoyed helping on the farm when he was young. Donald was also an avid civil war enthusiast. He was a member of the Calvary United Pentecostal Church for over fifty years where he enjoyed singing and playing guitar. Donald loved kids and treated every child he was around like they were his own. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Gathering of family and friends: Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with a memorial service at 2:00 P.M. at Calvery United Penecostal Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Steve Edwards officiating.  In leiu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cralley family in care of Ueldean Cralley for funeral expenses.
