Cassandra E. Disroe, 52, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 2:59 P.M. May 7, 2018 at her residence in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born October 10, 1965 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Calvin Disroe, Jr. and Bernestine (Knox) Disroe.
Cassandra is survived by her mother, Bernestine Disroe of Mount Vernon, Illinois; two sons, Kevin Disroe of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Christian Disroe of Columbia, Missouri; sisters, Peggy Disroe of Washington D.C., Carol Gregory of Centralia, Illinois, Carla Whitlow and husband, Mike of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Veronica Johnson of Houston, Texas; brothers, Calvin Disroe, III of Atlanta, Georgia, Chris Disroe and wife, Joi of Atlanta, Georgia, Darryl Disroe and wife, April of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Derrick Disroe and wife, Elisa of Atlanta, Georgia, Darren Disroe of Las Vegas, Nevada, Darnell Disroe of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Jerry Fleming of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Glen Fleming of Wisconsin; and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Ms. Disroe was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Katie Disroe and Estella Knox; grandfather, Calvin Disroe, Sr.; fathers, Calvin Disroe, Jr. and Glen Fleming, Sr.; and sister, Rita Disroe.
Cassandra worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Pastor Tim Goodwin officiating.
